"A great, quick and easy recipe for Yorkshire pudding. Everybody loves 'em!"
Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons butter
Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  2. In a medium bowl, beat eggs with milk. Stir in flour. Set aside.
  3. Divide butter evenly into the twelve cups of a muffin tin, about 1/2 teaspoon per cup. Place tin in oven to melt butter, 2 to 5 minutes. Remove tin from oven, and distribute batter evenly among buttery cups.
  4. Bake in preheated oven 5 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and bake 25 minutes more or until puffed and golden.

Beautiful Sass. I make mini puddings in my little 10 oz Dutch ovens. I also use melted butter in mine.

Our friend, Ann, makes it in a big pan with drippings from prime rib. I have one in the freezer and should try it.

I make them sometimes with other meats.
I tried it once with butter because the there wasn’t much fat from the beef roast and it was good. So now I can have them with chicken. :blob_blue:

I've done it in a big pan before making toad in the hole. Of course then, the weight of the sausages holds it all down in spots.
For a full, single pan pudding it's likely to puff and grow all over the pan.
