thanx!~ very, very subtly hinting to my Mom that i luv 'da boots. (decided to not get another pair of sandals.) i called her office w/ very, very subtle hints-
'Mummy, i picked my main Christmas gift.'
'yes~.......'
'they're boots.'
'i thought u requested a t.v.'
'yeah, that, too. i gotta have these boots, tho. u know how that is, Mum'
'how much~'
'$300.'
'where.' (her voice is gettin' icicles now.)

'we'll see.'
i give her the name, color i picked, etc., then call the place. they have 'em! so i call my Mom again to inform her of this. she's suddenly not answering her office phone.

I'm a low maintenance type. I've been looking at these.....under $50 at Payless

i'd get 'em, cooksie, if u like 'em. i get stuff that endures pgh. weather- functional meets fashion.
my Mom jus' offered to buy me yet another feather comforter. this'll be the 4th one.
