Almost Polish leftovers

I had some leftovers and made up a dish similar to the one my Polish Aunt Stella made.

I had a wedge of fresh Savoy cabbage ("kapusta") which I cut up and steamed. Mixed it with linguini (Stella used noodles, "Kluski") and some cottage cheese with chives (Stella used Farmer's cheese which is like a drier ricotta), and dried dill. And butter.

Pretty darned good for a throw-together almost-Polish meal of leftovers!

Wife is a Polish immigrant and she makes this for me often, like when we've been working all day and have somewhere to go right away. So I think it could be classified as Polish fast food.

Waybomb, what does your wife use for the cheese?

I don't think there is a variation of cabbage & noodles that I don't like. it's the ultimate comfort food, and is quick-n-easy. I'm in love...again!
