YUMMY OATMEAL COCONUT COOKIES
1/2 cup(s) BROWN SUGAR
1 EGG
1/2 cup(s) SUGAR
1/8 teaspoon(s) SALT
1/4 cup(s) CRISCO
1/4 cup(s) BUTTER; Softened.
1 teaspoon(s) VANILLA
1/2 teaspoon(s) BAKING SODA
1/2 teaspoon(s) BAKING POWDER
3/4 cup(s) FLOUR
1 cup(s) OATS; Quick Cooking.
1 cup(s) COCONUT
1 cup(s) WALNUTS; Chopped.

In a bowl; mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, oatmeal, coconut, walnuts and salt, set aside.
Mix together both sugars, egg, shortening and vanilla.
Mix until creamy.
Slowly combine flour mixture with the creamed mixture until well combined.
Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 13 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack.
About 45 cookies.
