Hazelnut Grape Pudding

Miniman

Mini man - maxi food

Ingredients

300ml / 1/2pt double cream
450g / 15 oz hazelnut yoghurt
450g / 1lb seedless grapes (Black ones look best, but either will do)

4tbsp demerara sugar (this is required at home NOT at school)

Method

1 Whip the double cream until thick but not dry

2 Fold the hazelnut yoghurt into the cream using a metal spoon

3 Wash and halve the grapes, then fold into the cream and yoghurt mixture

To serve at home

4 Place the mixture in a flame-proof serving dish. Sprinkle with the sugar

5 Place under a hot grill, for 1-2 minutes or until the sugar has caramelised and is bubbling Serve at once

The above is the classic recip, for the IC Challenge, I used plain yoghurt and smashed up some hazelnuts from my tree. I then mixed some into the pudding, toasted the rest and sprinkled them on top instead of the sugar.

Well, that sound lovely, Ray! Did you invent it?
