I love Salisbury Steak, just can never find one that is not too salty. Thanks for the recipe, is that creamed spinach with it?

Mav, the Onion soup mix is salty. Try this recipe in place of it.

4 tsp. salt-free beef bouillon granules
8 tsp. onion flakes/dried
1 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. pepper

This looks great Peeps!!

Thanks! I am kinda funny that way, I have never put salt on my food and have a tendency to use about half of what recipes call for. Which means DW almost always ends up having to add some, LOL.

Well I've got a DH that no matter how much I salt..........he tends to add more without tasting it first...,.grrrrr

thank you everyone.
actually i goofed on the recipe it should be 1/2 envelope of soup mix sorry. i cut down the recipe to post for the IC. i usually use 3 lb meat and freeze 1/2 of cooked patties and gravy for a second meal. sometimes i don't even use the soup mix if i don't have it on hand i just chop onion fine and add to meat. i just typed this recipe up quick because i just throw it together.

no not creamed spinach. that is just buttered chopped frozen spinach.
