I love daisys. Yours look like wildflowers. I would like to plant some that look like yours, Saliha.

Actually my daisies are like wildflowers, they grow by they own with the other wild ones in the corner of garden I have left as a meadow. Originally, they have escaped from some flower bench.

I can try to collect their seeds and send them, if you like those ones.

Fantastic garden, Saliha! I know how much work it is, but also how satisfying.

I'm plagued again by the damned woodchuck this year! He has found his way into my chicken-wire cages and has mowed down all three varieties of my beans, and most of my sunflowers!

So discouraging and aggravating! I do heavily sprinkle cayenne on the leaves, but the plants don't like it much. And if I don't do that right away after watering or a rain, the stinker is back eating my plants again! :censored::mad::angry:

Saliha, it appears that your garden is not bothered by munchers.

Only ones whose now scrunch in my garden are slugs and snails but they haven´t made very much damage yet at this year. At early spring mice might stole pea and bean seeds but usually they don´t do a lot of harm.

Yep, gardening may be very satisfying. Just today I harvested some of my spinach and made a spinach pie.

Going to the kitchen...

Golden balls are flowering soon. Normally they grow like a huge bush but at this year they seem to stay smaller. Maybe the frost at the last winter damaged them too.

Saliha, your garden is a gorgeous wonderland!

I particularly love the deep pink corn poppy and the light peach-colored spikey dahlia!

You do such a great job!

Thanks for continuing to share your photos with us!

Thanks. It is like a small oasis where I can relax after a day's work. The best times are still coming - like the sunflowers. There are already few tiny buds of them. These pics are from today:

Saliha, you probably already know this, but if you click on Search at the top, then Advanced search, type in your key word(s) - in this case, "zucchini" - then click "Search Titles Only", you will get tons of results from this forum.

So many great ideas!

Thanks about advice (yes, I might knew it already but thanks for reminding me). I have already made zucchini lasagna and today I made filled zucchinis (one half filled with browned groud beef, tomato sauce, olives, tomatoes, basil and grated cheese, the other half with tuna in curry sauce, boiled potato, tomatoes, sage and grated cheese). My workmate promised to write to me also a recipe for zucchini cookies. I need to try it next then.

Saliha - I've certainly enjoyed all the pix of your garden - you have done a wonderful job!

what is absolute amazing is - following your garden and my garden over time.....
yours is way far ahead of mine - and I'm a a latitude with Sicily!

spent time in Sweden - so I'm familiar with the 'it's 2200 and still light' thing - I guess the longer daylight hours really pump up the plants.
