Heard so much about this type of fish that I wanted to try it (I must be unintentionally channeling Buzz this week! Hi Buzz!).

Anyway, Whole Foods store had it for $24/lb (!), but as an Amazon...

Picked some shishito peppers and jalapenoes from my garden. Made ABT's with the japs, and grilled all the vegs. I bought...

Re: Beet Greens

Gotta love a local Farmer's Market!

I bought some good stuff today, and cooked up the beet greens and the turnip greens, mixed them together after cooking each separately.

I stemmed the turnip...

Re: What are you eating Sunday, 7/19/2020 to Saturday, 7/25/2020?

Good suggestion to move this section of a dinner thread, Sass - thanks! Since there are so many posts on the subject, I gave it a thread of its own.

I'll move Jimmy's dinner post to this week's...

Re: What are you reading?

I finished that one about a month ago. Similar character set-up to Stranger, but another page-turner.

I like her style!

Doc, I like Baldacci, too!

Now reading "Hell's Kitchen" by Jeffrey...

SS, your chicken dish looks great, and low-carb, too!

Sass, I'm not a big fan of salmon, but I do love the look of yours!

Another sesame-encrusted tuna steak, with mashed rutabaga and Johnny West's delicous roasted beet salad http://www.netcookingtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=27011&highlight=Beet

Delicious meal!

Re: What are you eating Sunday, 7/19/2020 to Saturday, 7/25/2020?

Re: What are you eating Sunday, 7/19/2020 to Saturday, 7/25/2020?

A friend and I went on a ghost-hunting 2-night adventure at a B&B in Waterbury, VT.

Had dinner at a slow-smoked BBQ spot and we each ordered a dinosaur beef rib. Spectacular! Tender as pot...

Re: What are you eating Sunday, 7/19/2020 to Saturday, 7/25/2020?

Kathy, had to look up "patatas bravas" - fried cubed potatoes with spicy sauce. They look delicious!

Peep, I'm so sorry about your a.c.! Hope it's fixed by now! How is your finger?

Re: What We're Eating @ NCT Sunday July 12 - Saturday 18

I wonder if I...
