I'm Getting Annoyed!!!!

In the past three or four days, I have been getting popup ads ONLY when I log into FF or NCT. I'm thinking it's something in the server Doc uses as I didn't get anything on NTT, which is still, I think, on a different server. Oh Doc? Is there a fix for that??? All those popups loading makes NCT and FF slow to load, and that annoys me! :bonk:

Strange, I have the plug in pop up blocker for FireFox and never see the ads. Did you check your settings to make sure you didn't accidently make an exception for these two sites?

Good thought Mav. I don't even use a pop up blocker because I want to see whats going on and verify the google ads are where they should be.
All is working as designed. There are no pop up ads on my sites (knowingly). Is anyone else seeing these ads?
I have banner ads and google ads all near the top of each page. They should never ever pop up where you have to click them to move on.
Please do a screen capture of the ads if you can. Maybe that will help shed light on this. I'm sure not benefiting in any way from them ie: they are not paying me so they should not be there.

i don't block popups because i play yahoo canasta and backgammon which come up as popups.

With most pop up blockers, you can make a list of sites that are exempt from blocking. The program will allow these sites to use pop up ads and let them thru for you to see, but still block them from other sites.

I also use the built in pop blocker in IE 8 and never see popups.

I guess I wasn't clear, the popups I'm getting ARE ads. They can quit as Dw'd kill me if I decided to start dating again. I might be getting older, but Cialis isn't needed..........yet..........................I don't want to download any games...........and on and on and on.

Sounds like you got yourself some malicious ad ware there Biskit. Two things will help you with that, a good pop up blocker and an ad ware scanner and remover. The second one should find what is generating these ads and kill it.
