NEW YORK, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Kroger Co (KR.N: Quote (http://www.reuters.com/stocks/quote?symbol=KR.N), Profile (http://www.reuters.com/stocks/companyProfile?symbol=KR.N), Research (http://www.reuters.com/stocks/researchReports?symbol=KR.N), Stock Buzz (http://reuters.socialpicks.com/stock/r/KR)) said it was recalling packages of Kroger Hulless Corn Puff Poppers - Extreme Butter because the snack could contain milk not listed on the label.

The artificially flavored snack is in 8-ounce packages with a sell-by date of "Nov 08 08 244" followed by A or B. Customers can return the product to stores for a refund or replacement, Kroger said on Friday.

No illnesses have been reported.

The recall includes stores under Kroger and Baker's, City Market, Dillons, Fry's, Hilander, Jay C, King Soopers, Owen's, Pay Less and Scott's.
The stores involved are in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia.

On Thursday, Kroger expanded its recall of ground beef, part of a recall by Nebraska Beef. (Reporting by Sarah Coffey, editing by Maureen Bavdek)

We have some Kroger ground beef. I wonder how you tell if what you have was recalled?

If it is fresh, you can be almost certain it is not. If you froze it, look at the code dates to see if they match up.

But really, all you need to do is cook it to 160f internal and there will be no problem.

Eating anything less than well done ground meat is looking for trouble.
