My husband loves the health benefits of salmon, but no matter how I cook/bake it, it just doesn't come out too tasty. It's that overly-fishy taste that I just can't get rid of. My husband doesn't mind it, but I'm not a fan of the salmon flavor.

Does anyone have any salmon-based recipes that taste great and not too fishy :)?

Welcome to NCT Cooking Experiment!!!!! I'm glad you found us.

And I hope others will post good salmon recipes. I agree I have not found salmon to my liking and hope to find a recipe to tone it down. :D

I'll get an answer from wifey, but I know she takes a filet, wipes some milk over the fish, then squirts lemon on it. Puts it skin side down in tin foil, wraps the tin foil around, or uses a tin foil bag, then on the grill in the foil.

One benefit we have is we don't eat fish unless we catch 'em on the lake, come back, and filet and eat right away. They never have that fishy taste or smell.
