Ozark Pudding

1 egg
3/4 c sugar
2 tbsp flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 c nuts, broken
1 apple, peeled, cored and diced
1 tsp vanilla

Beat egg and sugar until smooth. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add apples, nuts, and vanilla. Bake in buttered 8" pie plate at 350F for 35 minutes

Serve with sweetened whipped cream, vanilla or rum raisin ice cream. About 6 servings.

probably a typo, maybe it should have been 2 tons of flour. :dizzy:

I think that one is from one of my Mom's books. I'll check and see what it is supposed to be.
