We visited a new (to us) restaurant the other morning.
I ordered a ham and cheese omelet.
I was a little surprised but pleased when it came.
The cook made a plain omelet. When it was almost done he laid a thick slice of ham on it the size of 1/2 the omelet. He then put a large slice of cheddar cheese on the ham and folded the eggs over the cheese and ham and let the cheese melt. Almost like a ham and cheese sandwich except it was omelet instead of bread.
