Roasted Broccoli with Lemon


this is my favorite way to make broccoli!!, roasting concentrates the flavors and caramelizes the natural sugars. A touch of olive oil gives it a crispy, delicious finish.
Makes 4 servings, 1 cup each

Ingredients:
4 cups broccoli florets
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
teaspoon salt
Freshly ground pepper
Lemon juice to finish


Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 450F. 2. Toss broccoli with oil, salt and pepper. Place on a large baking sheet (not air-insulated) and roast until the broccoli is tender and blackened on the bottom, 10 to 12 minutes. Serve immediately, with lemon

ohhh!!! I'm making it tonight! I didn't think I had any lemon but I just found one!

I just bought broccoli and more lemons today at the store and wanted to make some tonight with sea bass......but uh that didnt happen....turned into a sandwich night! Tomorrow though!! :D

Dee, I made this last night! Added in mushrooms and zuchinnii since I had some in the fridg. ONE WORD.... YUMMMMMMMMMMMY!
