Edit: God I hate when my post gets sent too early...
I thought you usally went out Thursdays??? Anyway, no idea here yet. Maybe I'll thaw a steak or something.
Or maybe I'll open my freezer and see what falls out, like Pancho did last night (lol0.

Yea.... we actually planned on going out Thursday, but I was not in the mood. So we changed to Friday. (Plus it is another D-Day at work, so I figured I'm gonna need a drink when it is all said and done!) I'm ready for some Mexican food! Chips, dip, and Margaritas!!!!

DW is a little under the weather so I'm gonna make me a seared Tuna steak to go with some left over chowder. I'll probably steam some beans too.

I threw a pork roast in the crock pot earlier with some garlic & onions. Hubby will probably chop it up & make BBQ out of it for sandwiches tonight.

i hope the marinating chicken legs are still good. if so, they'll be broiled to char a little, then baked.

also, i hope the shrimp are still good. 2 days in the fridge is iffy, even though they were still slightly frozen when i bought them. we'll see. if so, i'll be making either shrimp and white bean salad, or shrimp fra diavolo, or portugese stlye garlic shrimp.

one of these will be dinner. :chef:

Gotcha.
I don't know which key I hit on the left side of the keyboard, but it causes my posts to send early, while I'm still typing. I probably hit it 2x/week and in that case it just happened to be at the end of a sentence
It was a complete incomplete though :bonk:
And I still haven't pulled anything out of the freezer yet.....

I am making country fried steak, mashed taters and broccoli. Hubby has to be in bed by 5-6PM because he has to be at work at 2 so it will be an early meal.

I bought way too much shrimp and scallops yesterday so... I'm on a search of a good way to use .5 pound of each of those.

Have fresh veggies and salad makings and pasta and taters so...don't know what the sides will be yet.

Me and DW are volunteer working the fish fry at church from 4-8, so it's fish fry food. DW serves on the line and I scrub pots & pans. It's penance for my unconfessed sins.

WOW! That's a really good price. Ours is $10 and is AYCE with choice of baked or fried Alaskan pollack, salad or slaw, soup, roll, fries, veggie, 2 perogis, a slice of pie and beverage.

Oh, and Barb, YES, I'll be volunteering FOREVER!!!!!:pat:

I'm so excited! I made Crispy Orange Beef tonight and it came out great! I love chinese food, but my attempts at making it have been less than successful until tonight. I used this recipe:
http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Crispy-Orange-Beef/Detail.aspx
But added green bell pepper and subbed crystallized ginger for the fresh ginger. Here's what it looked like. Sorry, I couldn't get pics of it plated but I live with a bunch of animals who couldn't wait!

Oh that looks great!. Thanks for posting ref. site. I'll try this one too, minus the green pepper. They don't like me very much.
