Hey Y'all!!

WOW!! It has been a long time since I have seen some of these names!! I didn't realize how much I missed a lot of you until a few minutes ago. Well, I guess I need to introduce myself to those of you who don't already know me & update those of you who do.
I am a 31 yo mother of 2 wonderful children (TC is 12 & Savannah is 9), I have been married to a wonderful man for almost 13 years now, & we have 1 dog named Mack. I am the Senior Beauty Advisor at Walgreens, I have been working there for almost 4 months, seems like longer sometimes...lol! I love to cook (although hubby has been doing most of that since I went back to work), read, go fishing, spend time out on the boat (it's a good thing the lake is only 5 min from our house), & just hang out with my family & friends. I was born & raised in the Upstate of SC but due to a promotion for hubby, we moved to Columbia, SC last Feb. I miss the small town life, but the city has so much more to offer & I'm starting to love it! Let's see, what else? Oh, I'm a very shy person in my everyday life, but I'm finally starting to come out of my shell. I tend to speak my mind, especially if something ticks me off, but it takes a lot to tick me off. I also tend to talk way too much once I get to know someone. Most people think I'm all sweet & innocent when they first meet me, but once they get to know me, they find out pretty fast that I'm far from it...lol! Anyway, it's great to be here & I look forward to getting to know some new people & catching up with those I already know. Can't wait to dive in & see what good things everyone is cooking!!

What kind of boating do you do? We have a Skeeter bass boat, but I'd love to learn to sail. There's just something about being out on the water that thrills me.

I agree the water is therapeutic. I have the houseboat in the avatar, just got it two seasons ago. It's a 20 year old Gibson. But still my favorite is my Baja go fast boat. It's a 25 footer. I mainly cruise & ride the waves and hook up with other boaters to tip a few brews in the sunshine. We'll tie all the boats up together or meet on one of the islands on the Ohio river. :beer: :D

Oh, I miss houseboating! We used to go up to Lake of the Woods and spend a week out on the lake, docking at islands in the evening. Lots and lots of fun!
