Mav's post about Italian Beef au jus reminds me of one of my very favorite regional delights - the Mexican version of a French Dip, I guess. It is SO good with spicy sauce, and I always eat it with a spoon...here's a link that explains what it is and has a picture.

It does look great! But while I love spicy I might go with the tomato based sauce the first time around, LOL. Kinda test the waters.
And I whole heartedly agree, Mexican food is so much more than what we think of it as.

I'd too go with the tomato based one since I don't do "really" spicy. But oh goodness...I know what to look for on the menu next time I go on vacation!!
