1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter or bacon drippings

This was my grandmother's recipe

I love family recipes. Sounds delicious... now, if only cabbage didn't give such horrendous gas!

That sounds great. I love cabbage but the rest of my family don't so I'd have to cut way back on amounts.

Wow Jim, I know this is an old post, but I've never heard of cabbage and milk. I've got some cabbage left over from the Spring Rolls the other night......I know this is a dumb question, but how is this recipe? Can you compare the flavor/texture to anything? Thanks!

I remember enjoying it but it's been a long time since I've had any. She's been gone 35 years and I don't remember Mom ever fixing it.
