I'm not sure I like it, but I drink diet soda, and prefer the Diet Coke.
I like an old fashioned glass bottled coke from Mexico, where they do not use the crappy HFCS we use in the states, but use real cane sugar. There's a Mexican food mart in Benton Harbor that sells it. Bad for my diet, but it oh so very good. Not cheap either.
If Coke had any brains, they'd sell it here. Heck, the Mexicans import it all the way from Mexico and still make money on it BH. I'm sure Coke could get real cane sugar up here cheaper than shipping the finished product. The Mexican mart gets 1.25 for a 12 oz bottle. I am quite sure Coke could sell 16 oz bottles for a buck and still make a killing.

I prefer Dr. Pepper - but given a choice between Coke or Pepsi I'll go with Coke ... I hate Jerry Jones! My son-in-law took me to a Cowboy game 5-6 years ago and it was either Pepsi or beer because of the stupid owner!

Pepsi's too sweet-ish for my taste. I don't do diet soda of any kind. Gimme an ice cold Coke anytime! :bounce:

I voted Pepsi.
However, I will drink Coke, as long it's out of a fountain. I don't care for it bottled (I can taste a difference).
I will drink diet of either kind, as long as I can squeeze a lime into it.

i voted for coke, although i drink diet coke more often. it's an attempt to cut out some sugar in my diet. i like the astringency, as well as the amount of tooth-rotting sweetness in coke.
pepsi tastes too artificially sweet to me, but i'll drink it if that's all that's available..
i much prefer fountain soda over canned or bottled, too.

Waybomb is SO right about this. We never drank coke before we moved down here. It is SO much better. We are practically addicted to it now....

MJ!!!
I picked coke! Never cared for Pepsi, nor the diet versions of any drink. When I have a soda, I like the fizzy coke that makes me burp!

RC cola.. it's not Coke or Pepsi, just different and a lot more refreshing over a tall glass of crushed ice.

Water...Fresca...tab..
don't drink a lot of pop.
Ice tea. We make if from mix in half gallon bottles, 2 bottles at a time.
Coke or Pepsi is a toss up. We rarely drink carbonated any more.
Before corn sweetener I would have chosen Coke, would probably still be drinking it, but Coke lost something when switched to HFCS.
And I don't drink 'diet', If bees and other insects ignore fake sweetener I figure I should too.

don't forget pku's.
it's a rare disease, but phenylketonurics can't drink diet sodas, or the acid builds up and eats their brain.

I don't drink much soda either, and never sugar free stuff.
If I do, Pepsi, or caffeine free Pepsi, if I can find it.
I like gingerale the best though, out of all the carbonates.
I used to love a good freezing cold root beer, but I guess I
overdosed.
I don't drink many sodas perhaps a bottle a month tops. I prefer coffee or tea most of the time with a beer perhaps after dinner or on the weekends.
Gotta support the local economy....Atlanta's the World Headquarters for Coke!

Prefer Root Beer, green tea, RC, Diet Rite, ice tea, then Pepsi. I only like Coke from Mexico in the glass bottles, pure can sugar not HFCS!

I grew up liking Coke better, now I prefer the less sweet Pepsi. But in reality 95% of the time when I drink carbonated beverages its Gingerale.

I stopped drinking diet after learning it's worse than regular, lol and it hasn't helped me any. I went back to my favorite, Coke!! I do have to have caffeine free right now though.

Diet coke for me. Actually, I only buy diet drinks for my house. The reason is that when diet drinks spill, it's not sticky!!!

:shock:No, I can't say I have. But it sounds like it would cure a sinus infection.

It also cures focus, cognition, stability, balance, coherence, and giving a damn! Hmmm, sounds like marriage.

Marraige is like snorting Pepsi... I like that...
If I want a cherry Pepsi or Coke I make it myself... I prefer to add in my own cherry syrup, and even a cherry, to make it! They did it that way at Denny's for awhile, loved it done like that, but not from the bottle or can.

I'm addicted to Pepsi...I had an interesting hospital stay for a week year before last & when I got out all I wanted was Pepsi. It's kinda stayed that way. We do drink at least a gallon of sweet tea a day though.
Before my hospital stay I drank a lot of diet sodas & ate a lot of things with artificial sweetners. I started having chronic joint pain & other health problems. My doctor tested me for rhumatoid arthritis, fibromyalga, & several other things but could find nothing wrong with me to explain the pain. It wasn't until I was in the hospital for a totally seperate reason that my doctor there determined I had aspartame poisoning. He imediately cut out all artificial sweetners from my diet & by the time I was released, I was 75% free of the joint pain & all other symptoms. Now, I read lab;es very carefully because even a piece of gum or candy that's sugar free will give me a headache.

I seldom drink soda except with my once weekly fast food fix, and then it depends on whether the joint has Coke or Pepsi.
When I'm not feeling well, I like Diet Mountain Dew...it doesn't taste at all like a diet drink, and all that caffeine really gives you a lift.
But most of the time, I start my day with plain iced tea (de-caf), have milk with my meals, drink several beers before supper and have ice water next to my bed at night, as I often wake up thirsty.

I do like the Coke Slurpee (Slushee whatever each place calls em) over the Pepsi ones, unless it is the Wild Cherry Pepsi. Also real good if you add Cherry Fanta Slurpee to the Coke Slurpee to make your own.
Nothing beats the Vanilla Bean Slurpee though, followed by the Mountain Dew Slurpee!
