Cracker Salad

1 stack pack saltine crackers, crushed (1/4 box)
1 c chopped onion
1 c sweet pickles, chopped (or pickle relish)
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
1 (2 oz) jar pimento, drained and chopped
5 hard cooked eggs, chopped
1 pt mayonnaise or salad dressing

Mix and serve. Keep refrigerated. Serves 8

How different. Cracker salad. Sounds crazy by the name, but reading the ingrediants it sounds like it's worth trying.

I can't even guess how this came about. It almost sounds like this was all that was left in the kitchen one day :eek:

It's similar to (may be exactly) Paula Deen's recipe.

I made it once and LOVED it! QBro didn't care for it, so more for me! He doesn't like tomato-bread salad, either (the Italian name for that escapes me).
