BTW a 2 room suite (1 room had 2 full size beds and the other had 1 king size bed) full bath in each room, arm chair in each room, table and chair in each room, microwave and fridge to share between rooms was only $62.00 before tax!!!

Ah, SOB! Used to live 90 miles north in Fayetteville NC... made it there in 60 minutes
one July 4th to buy fireworks... we were young and stupid, LOL!
There used to be billboards for the place along all of I-95, with one every mile the
last 50 miles or so. Was a HUGE 1960s tourist trap, now just a shadow of what it was.
