View Full Version : Is it okay to make forum and subforum suggestions?
Let me assume that it is, and proceed!
I would like to see a Vegetarian forum. I have some excellent vegetarian recipes that I'd like to share, but they are more than just "vegetables".
Also, can we break out subforums for beef, lamb, pork, veal?
And subforums for cakes, pies, cookies and maybe more in the dessert category?
Breads should have it's own, as it does now (I think).
We are going to be increasing membership now, and posting more and more recipes. Just thought it would be easier for members to find stuff if it was broken out a bit more.
What you think, Doc and jim?

Red Sox fans can not make suggestions.
Good suggestions Lee. I will be working on the Baking sub forums today and tomorrow. I will be thinking on where the Vegetarian forum will fit best. Suggestions are always welcome.

Some of us have already added our input to the baking forum. lol
I'm actually surprised not to see a vegan sub-forum on some food forums, including this one.

Doc is working on it. It takes time to make changes.

Cool beans! I love responsive administators!
I wonder why DC was never receptive to this particular suggestion... I recall bringing it up once a few months back.

I'd like to see a separate forum for separate forum suggestions.
:dizzy:
I don't mind separate forums and subforums as long as they're all listed on the index page. I seem to remember one place where the subforums were hidden unless you knew where to click. They appeared more as stickies.

I think it's simply that we don't think of everything. I've started the core categories but as we grow I will refine and add ones to cover areas that I didn't think of at start up time.

I support the idea of a vegetarian forum, I love to collect recipes and try em out.
But, watch out for crossovers, like vegetarian Indian food. That could fit in both categories.

I've been on forums that are much the same way. It's like they take it as an insult that they did not think of it in their grand scheme of things. Even when they were obviously wrong.
