DD's step MIL is an author and was having a luncheon and book signing at Maggiano's Little Italy (http://www.maggianos.com/default.asp). I had never been and DD invited me so I decided to check it out.

It was a family style luncheon and they served:

Appetizers: Bruschetta and Mozzarella Marinara

Salads: Caesar and The House Salad

Main Course: Four-Cheese Ravioli, Lemon & Herb Salmon, Chicken Parmesan and their signature Rigatoni dish (Rigatoni pasta, herb roasted boneless chicken, mushrooms and onions, tossed in a light Marsala cream sauce)

Dessert: Fresh Fruit and Warm Apple Crostada with homemade ice cream (O-M-G) with a wonderfully rich and smooth cup of coffee on the side.

My review: Absolutely wonderful! Everything appeared to have been made using fresh ingredients. I sampled everything and found nothing to complain about. If you go, be sure to try their signature Rigatoni Dish and the Apple Crostada is an absolute MUST...I don't care if you have to take your dinner home in a to go box, you have to try that dessert...oh, and don't forget the coffee.

I give it...:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

Maggiano's is a wonderful place. There's one in Tyson's Corner in the Galleria in Northern Virginia. Only thing is that it's a pretty long hike from here.

Nice write-up, Mama!

Geez, I would have been happy with just the pepperoni and arugula flatbread that's pictured on the homepage of their website!

They have one in Boston, Lee. You should check it out if you get a chance, even if you just have coffee and the apple crostata.

Looks like there is one in Bellevue, Washington and 5 in California. Just click on the link in my review and then click on locations.

There is another one in Topanga Plaza in Woodland Hills. That would be Victory and Topanga Blvd.

I haven't lived in the US for almost five years, but never did hear of one in Portland, OR, where I lived. Sounds like an experience not be missed next time I am in the US. Thanks for the info.
