Chocolate Quickie Clusters
Another recipe from my mom's file. I remember her making these in the late 1960s or early 1970s. They use to be very popular and are kind of different. La Choy was one of the first brands available to Americans for Asian cooking at home.

Chocolate Quickie Clusters

Ingredients:
1 cup chocolate morsels
3 Tablespoons corn syrup
1 Tablespoon water
1 cup Chow Mein noodles
1 cup salted peanuts

Directions:
Melt chocolate morsels with corn syrup and water; stir to blend. Add noodles and nuts. Stir gently until coated. Drop by teaspoonfuls on tin foil. Chill until firm.
