the ingredients

fried 2 pounds of hot italian sausage..added 1/2 cup ham, onions,garlic and a shake of tony's...seasoned with some pepper as well

added chicken stock, water... potatoes getting ready for a swim in the stock

boil the taters until tender...

when taters are tender, reduce heat to a simmer and added 3 cups of half and half

its bitter if u cook it too long..basically u r blanching it until just soft... as for taste, it really doesnt have a strong taste when u cook it like this

hmm I was happy with my dinner til I looked at this... nice job bam... i couldn't possibly be hungry again but i want a bite

It kinda reminds me of one of my favorite soups you get at Olive Garden, looks great! I love kale, it holds up well in a soup like this. Well done Bam!

ding ding ding...we have a winner..lol

it is the only reason i eat at olive garden..lol

its a clone and a pretty damn good one if i do say so myself.lol

Substitute linguica for the Italian sausage, add kidney or Great Northern Beans, and you have Portuguese Kale Soup.
