Season 2 of Top Chef Masters starts April 7 at 11est/10c times on Bravo. Good first season and hopefully this will be as good. You can check out who is competing in this season at http://www.bravotv.com/top-chef-masters/season-2/about

I have been catching bits and pieces of it so far. I liked it last year, and I'm liking it this season too. Isnt it funny when you get true professionals, at the top of their game together for a competition, you dont have nearly the silly drama that shows like "Hells Kitchen" and even the original "Top Chef" seem to have fallen back on.

Yes but then these people have all at least heard of each other I guess. So perhaps it is the difference in that they show respect for each others talents. I can watch regular Top Chef but can't watch Hell's Kitchen or other shows like it.

Oh dont get me wrong-I still watch Top Chef. But the little affair between the eventual winner and that girl really took away from the shows credibility, IMO. I still think Stefan should have won.

But as far as Hells Kitchen goes, I'm with you Joe-I simply can't watch it anymore. If there isn't a fire truck or an ambulance, there is somebody "calling out" Ramsey. Sadly, its just another "reality" show.

Top chef is my favorite cooking show. It's not like freaking Hell's Kitchen where the host is just ridiculous. I feel in top chef there is a certain respect amongst all chefs. I like that better.

While I find myself watching Top Chef from time to time, don't fool yourself the whole thing isn't scripted on some level.

Finally got to watch TC, as my cable co picked it up. (Think they won an Emmy recently.) It is, somewhat, entertaining. So far, IMO, I haven't seen Iron Chef-quality dishes produced. I'll stick with Iron Chef America on FN.
