I can't tell yoy how crazy these call centers make me.

I have nothing against the individuals they are just folks trying to work a job like the rest of us... my problem is with the companies....

First of all on the outsourcing... it was too expensive to pay domestic workers benefits so they got temps... temps still cost more than India so...

Now this would be OK if they offered actual customer service but they don't most of the people I talk to are reading off a screen and do not have access to the information they need to help me.

I have been told bold faced lies and had the same crap repeated to me ad nauseum

Seriously If I have a problem I need two things one is someone I can converse with and the other is somone who has the actual ability to tell me somthing other than unplug replug..... The "have you unplugged and replugged your modem" and "Please bear with me I am checking all my resoucres" phrases make me poung the ceiling in anger.

In a previous life I did sales and customer service for NYNEX... now Verizon so I know what a pain the job is and how frustrating it is to not have the ability to help but this stuff drives me NUTS
