I'm not up to JoeV's standards but this is what I made this afternoon.

Oh Wow, Ray, that is beautiful bread!!! The rolls are gorgeous. Did you tie them in a loose knot to get that lovely twisted effect?

Yes FM, roll out the ball into a snake & then make into a knot.

That's a lot of work for one afternoon. I'm impressed! Even making one loaf is too much for me.
And I'll have one of those big-uns in the back :^)

I'll take one in the back too. Looks like a long version of a portuguese roll.
Can't find them down here.
I'll have to ask JoeV about portuguese rolls. I've never seen posts on them.

Great job Miniman. I've done rolls that way when baking for a crowd. Sure makes it easy. What recipe did you use? Same recipe for the rolls and the loaves?

I used the same dough for all the loaves. It's not that much work - I made up six batches and then shaped them as I wanted.

Why not? If you can bring Ray's post back after 77 days, why not the appropriate terminology? :yum:

Wait a minute...we never had a problem with bread porn on NCT, did we? I thought the only problem was with the high & mighty over in Happy Valley. You know, the place where they major in minor things.
