Great Greek Meatballs!!

Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger or ground lamb
1 egg
1/2 cup bread crumbs
1/2 parsely
1 small onion, greated or chopped
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
2 teaspoons orgeano!!! ( thanks for pointing that out miniman)!!!


Directions:
mix all ingredients together

shape in to balls

roll in flour

fry in good olive oil!!

eat

enjoy

ask for more

Ya know, what do you think if you bought some feta cheese and put that in the middle of the meat ball? :unsure:

Ok.... heres one for ya.......

What IF you bought some good black Greek/Italian olives and chopped the hell out of them an then mixed it IN the meat and then put the Feta inside the meat ball?

To salty? Would it even stay together? :unsure:

I'd go with the feta but would leave the olives out. Just serve them on the side.

I've done it with the feta and it ROCKS!!!!! Warm melty feta ROCKS! YUMMMMMY!!!!

I made something similar with ground lamb that had mint in it and was eaten in pita with a yogurt cucumber dressing. Very good! I love Greek food!
