I just heard about this today. How awful! 2 students were shot (but not killed) before a heroic gym teacher tackled the shooter and, with the help of another teacher, took him down.

Teachers can not only change lives - they can literally save them! Bravo to this one!

The shooter mumbled "I'm fighting for freedom." I doubt that he will enjoy his new found "freedom" much...

Yeah - apparently the shooter is 32 years old!!! What adult goes into a school and starts shooting??? I can kind of understand when it's a student. Not that it's right - just that teens can be crazy carried away and impulsive. But what kind of adult walks into a school and starts shooting kids?

A COWARD. They know that schools are gun free zones so they are easy targets.

Hi folks, this is your friend Rick reminding you we can discuss this civilly. (No, no one has gone overboard) or broken any rules, I am just being a little proactive. :flowers:

My take on this and I have always said it was "Crimes against children/kids bother me the most".
