Howdy folks. Another "refugee" from DC. I see many names/avatars that I recognize.
I wasn't really aware of some of the issues you all have been posting about. But then, I didn't do much with posts except those that actually dealt with food issues. Lately, I haven't seen many new threads over there that I felt I could give any insight to. Jeeks, Pancho, thanks for the invite!
For those of you who don't know me, allow me to introduce myself. My name actually IS Allen. And yes, I do live in Oklahoma. I am currently the night saute cook / defacto Saucier / unofficial Chef de Cuisine for the "Trophy Room" dining area at Tulsa Country Club.
My hobbies are varied. For many years, I was one of those crazy folks that use metal detectors to search for an recover metallic objects out of the ground or water. For over a decade I have collected recipes, but that's out of a professional interest. I used to do Native American Beadwork, which I learned to do back when I was in the Boy Scouts. The past year, I have really gotten addicted to fishing. My preferred target is catfish, although I often go fishing for bluegill (catfish bait), and will not turn down crappie, stripers, etc.
Doc, I'd be interested in the virtual tour of your boat. I need to get a boat if I ever expect to really catch good fish.
