Aka Sgroppino.
Serves 6

1 pint sorbet - I used Haagendazs Pomagranate sorbet -- Use any flavor you like, i.e. lemon, peach, mango etc.
2 cups Prosecco
Splash of Vodka - optional
Mint sprigs for garnish

Scoop the sorbet into 6 wine glasses. Pour 1/3 cup Prosecco into each glass. Add a splash of vodka, if desired. Garnish with mint.

Sgroppino should be made with lemon sorbet. It is used in venice as a break inbetween fish diskes (usually served inbetween pasta and secon course)

Thanks for the "lesson." However, this is my interpretation, & I am calling it a "Float." I don't always go with what is traditional. Creativity is what cooking is about for me.
