anyone mailing food??

I don't often send food in the mail, but wanted my parents to have some of the cookies I made for christmas.
Wrapped the bejesus out of them and sent them off! I did regular mail, they should arrive by Tuesday.

Anyone else? Take any special precautions??

I did. I just made sure everything in the big box was separately boxed and stuffed newspaper in so it wouldn't rattle around. lol I sent mine Priority Mail..flat rate. They should arrive by Monday.

Pretty sure mine went priority too. I put enough tissue and paper around them, not to mention the wrapping of the platter itself.

My dad sent me a case of oranges from his tree last week. As soon as I opened the box I got this great fragrant whiff of orange zest I immediately wanted tequila!
