I'm just roasting a boring old chicken and mashing some plain 'ol potatoes.
It's snowy, COLD, and I want to run the oven awhile.

Got any plans yet?

leftover stew from Monday night: stew meat (beef), beefy onion soup, carrots, potatoes, bay leaf, thyme, seasoning salt.

My friend Letecia talked about them on another forum last year, and we shared some recipes-- yeah those refrigerated ones that were/are whomped to get the can to open. lol

Oh, I forgot to post this. We had porterhouse steak, broccoli, salad, baked tater and garlic sticks. I forgot to put the tater on the plate before I took the pic. lol

I had a meeting in Portland, OR today. Dinner was on the road. I had a no-chicken salad sandwichand a chocolate scone from a vegan deli. Lunch was a rice and bean bowl from a downtown food cart. Portland has awesome food!!!
