View Full Version : Barb's Beer Batter

2 eggs
2-2-1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 can beer
1 tsp. garlic powder
salt, pepper, paprika.....to taste

Mix all together. It should be a little thinner than a pancake batter. Add more beer or flour to get the consistency. Let sit for 15 minutes. Heat oil to about 350 degrees.
Dredge fish in flour then in batter. Slowly add to hot oil and brown on both sides. About 2-3 minutes each side.
