2 T olive oil
1 clove garlic-chopped
1 medium onion-chopped
1-1/2 lb fresh green beans, cut in half
3 large tomatoes-chopped
1/4 c parsley
1 t sugar
1 t salt
1/2 t dried basil
pepper
freshly grated parmesan cheese
In large saucepan, cook onion and garlic in oil til onion softens.
Add beans, tomatoes, parsley,basil, sugar and salt.
Cover and simmer until beans are tender.
Season with pepper, and top with cheese.
