Homemade Brown Sugar.

Here's another neat tip & trick to do in the kitchen!

It's very practical and it can help save you some money over buying brown sugar from the store already made.

If I know many, they might already have plenty of sugar and molasses on hand. Just add enough molasses to regular sugar until it reaches the shade that you want, light, medium or dark.

Stir it in with the sugar until thoroughly blended, and voila, you've got homemade brown sugar!! I do this now whenever I'm doing a recipe that calls for brown sugar.

And I only make it when it's needed, which also eliminates the one age-old problem - brown sugar that is always becoming hard as a rock because it doesn't get used up fast enough! :chef:
