DH's boss gave him two tickets to RiverFest 2009, which includes a seafood dinner, so no cooking tonight

Considering it's the weekend Fred, and I slept in late, I made the one and only meal I'll have today.

For some reason I have been pasta crazy lately.
Must have been that episode of Andy Griffith I watched last week, you know.. the one where he goes to dinner at 2 or 3 different people's home in the same day and they all served spaghetti?

With both Aunt Bee and Opie out of town, Andy is left to fend for himself. Goober shows up one night to alleviate Andy's loneliness, fixing a tasty spaghetti dinner in the process. It is only after the boys have finished their meal that Goober remembers why he came over-he was supposed to invite Andy to Howard's house for another spaghetti supper. By the time this episode comes to a conclusion, Andy has consumed enough spaghetti to feed Italy and Sicily combined.

Right now there's a brined turkey breast in the smoker <using cherry wood>.Have not checked it yet as I'm afraid of putting a hex on the whole thing. Depending on when it is done, a turkey on rye sammie, with some of the last tomatoes from the garden. Rest of the day was filled with making salsa <15 pints> and chunky tomato basil marinara sauce.

Homemade ravioli - sundried tomato, fresh spinach, fresh parsley, ricotta, mozzarella, grated romano, grated parmesan, salt and pepper. Topped with tomato, sausage, ground beef and mushroom sauce and grated cheese.
