View Full Version : US postal service 6 day delivery
Congress requires the post office to deliver mail 6 days a week. The US Postmaster general is considering changing that to 5 day delivery.
Would that bother you?
I would not mind NOT getting bills on Saturday. :D How about you?
Well I get rent payments on Saturday too but not a big deal, just more to post on Monday.

Hey, I don't get that much snail mail.
Would I cry over getting my bills a day later?
Hmmm, let me think about that a minute. http://smiley.onegreatguy.net/dreamy.gif & another http://smiley.onegreatguy.net/dreamy.gif

It beats the annual postal increase they hit us with each year.
My local office used to have a pay copy machine in the lobby.
They didn't even increase the cost of copies. They just took the machine out.
They never hire or jockey carriers or workers in-house for "snowbird season",
or christmas, and the lines are always out the door.
Do I care? http://smiley.onegreatguy.net/dreamy.gif

Great question! I heard this on talk radio a few hours ago. One day a week is fine with me. I'll pop a Xanex before getting the bills out. ;)

Heck yeah I'd mind....
I get a lot of my Netflix movies on Saturday
If they want to cut back, start charging the heck out of merchants that send us all of that paper spam every day.
Just my opinion.

Who even mails things anymore? I'd say mail delivery on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday would do just fine.

ummmm... fine..with me... as long as they lower the cost of my postage stamps.
