I did a search, but I'm not absolutely certain that there isn't already a thread about books...if there is, then please feel free to zap me somewhere else, mods.

I didn't post this on the other forum because I was sure it would offend somebody, but it feels safe here: I am about halfway through an engrossing and fascinating book called Stiffs: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers by Mary Roach. Lots of very dark humor, as you might expect. Highly recommended, but not for the faint of heart. If you have a dark side (Vera, are you listening?) like me, you will really enjoy it.

I just got done reading CROSS COUNTRY ( James Patterson) And am re-reading Angels and Demons. The movie is coming out in May and I wanted to remember everything.

I will look that up, Karen - I'm interested in off-beat stuff like that.

Trish, I thought I was all caught up with Pattersons, but I haven't read that one.

I'm working my way through Harlan Coban's series of Myron Bolitar books. Fun reading - a mixture of mystery and humor with repeating characters (a la my beloved Robert Parker's "Spenser" series).

He really writes too many to keep up with these days... lol... Have you read the medical one yet..? I've forgotten the name. It's on my list to get though.
