Member Spot Light Thread

We have decided to begin a bi-weekly feature spotlighting a member of NCT. Please PM Doc with your nomination for the member you would like to see spotlighted and why. Nominations will close in 2 days for the first member to be spotlighted and the member to be featured will be announced then.

Disclaimer, this is not a popularity contest, it is just another way of getting to know each other one by one.

The floor is now open for nominations!

Thanks Terry. Good write up.
We are excited about this idea and hope you all are to. The spotlighted member will be asked to supply a few pics of themselves, their pets or whatever they choose to share. If you are nominated but not comfortable with this idea you may decline the offer. Over time we'll all get to know each other a little bit better. This should be fun. I hope you agree.

j/k We all know Chow is a fine upstanding citizen.

But for anyone who is worried, please understand that we will send you a little interview-type questionnaire to get the ball rolling, but you don't have to answer all the questions. Heck, you don't have to answer any of them if you want to just wing it by writing your spotlight yourself! The idea is to have some fun getting to know each other.

Well, I have to admit it is my fault that we did not start with the mods or myself. We will all take our turn but first off I wanted to spotlight members. This site is about you all. Myself and the mods help keep it running smoothly but we'd be nothing and really bored if all you guys were not here.

So I wanted to start with members but please know that you can nominate anyone (mods & admins included) when the nominations are open.

We'll grow this and figure part of it out as we go, but I sure think it will be fun.

Earlier today I wanted to place a Starbucks order...and was informed that as long as I placed the order before 11am pacific time my order would ship the next day, unless my deliveries came from Tennessee, in which case I had to have my order in by 1pm central time.....it was 2pm in New Jersey. I think I'll get my order on Tuesday:bonk:....which also means that I completely missed this thread. So sorry I didn't get a chance to nominate anyone. How much lead time will we have to nominate members and place starbucks orders??

I hate to answer for Doc but since he's not here, I think we may change it so that you can PM Doc with nominations anytime. As far as who's in the spotlight this time, that is revealed when the Spotlight is posted.

And like FM said, I might have nominations open all the time. My concern with that is limiting them to one or two a month per member. I don't want any one member nominating 20 other members. I'm still whittling on this and will announce after our first spotlight.
