I have a pair of barn finch that have made a home in the rafters of my back porch. Now I go out there to smoke so they have gotten used to me over the years and the male has actually come with inches of me sitting on my hand rail. I tried to touch him once and got pecked pretty good but he didn't run just started chirping at me with some really foul bird language. :unsure:

around here i've seen the birds peck the squirl until the squirl drops out of the tree.
