Just made a pan of blueberry scones. (YUM)
I make them with whole wheat flour instead of white, and splenda instead of sugar, olive oil instead of shortening, and buttermilk! I also add 1/2 cup of wheatc germ. (because of the whole wheat flour and wheat germ, I double the amount of buttermilk)
Healthy, filling, and downright delicious. :D

I think you just invented your own-um-thing there L.
Here you conned me into pulling up a scone thread only to see an original.
That's like saying I stuffed a duck, but used a suckling instead and I didn't really stuff it, but dressed it on the outside, and because i can't eat pork, used turkey pork instead. http://www.discusscooking.com/forums/images/smilies/wacko.gif L O L !!!

Healthy, filling, and downright delicious. :D Is that possible? I love scones, but I don't make them because they go south so quickly. Are you able to freeze them then thaw them with good results?

Haven't tried freezing, but they refrigerate and re-heat well.
