The Red Haven Peaches are finally ready to harvest. My wife and I are getting 1-1/2 bushels sliced and ready for the freezer. We have had a very cool summer this year but didn't lose the harvest to a spring freeze. They taste great this year. Trying to talk the wife into making her peach cobbler.

mmmm MMMMM! They look succulent!

I have never heard of that variety - I'll have to look for them.

They are a free stone variety and very sweet.

Speaking of peaches, I love them, but the other day I got some beatifull ones from the store, but they were horible, piece of tastless rubber.

Are those the same as "Mackinaw" peaches? Kramer and Neuman loved em'!!
