So I WAS going to make this for dinner.....

I needed to drain the yogurt so I did it...

My plans have been foiled again, not making this until tomorrow now.
Will the yogurt keep ok drained in the fridge overnight or will it be mad at me for removing its' water? :bounce:

It will give you the spanking of a lifetime!! Bare butt ouchieness!!

Really... I would think it would be OK as long as you covered it well... maybe lay a wet tea towel on top before covering with plastic wrap.

It should be fine. Drained yogurt will keep longer than regular yogurt as long as it is in a sealed container.

I have a recipe where you drain it on the counter for 24 hrs so I think yours will def be fine :)

I concur with everyone else  Just removing the whey doesn't affect how long yogurt will keep. It will be fine.

I'm also wondering what's going to happen with it, please post what happens to it.

My mom always drained the yogurt in the fridge. Also, coffee filters serve a great purpose here--or cheesecloth like my mom used. She always covered the whole thing in plastic wrap.
